Promote a positive state legislative and regulatory climate for wisconsin's community-based health plans. The association represents wisconsin health plans on state legislative and regulatory issues affecting health plan operations and health care quality. The association also promotes the education of consumers, the media, and opinion leaders about the high quality, cost effective health care delivered by wisconsin's community-based health plans. Association member plans also benefit from: managed care quality networking through participation in association meetings; timely and concise information on common legislative/regulatory issues affecting the industry; and relevant educational opportunities.

Government affairs representation with the state legislature and state regulatory agencies to promote issue positions representing the common interest of community-based health plans. Committee meetings, educational conferences, public education, newsletters, other regular member communications and activities that promote and improve the common business, government affairs and quality interests of health plans.
