Mission

The wisconsin association of plumbing-heating-cooling contractors, inc. Is the state affiliate of the plumbing-heating-cooling contractors-national association, the oldest trade organization in the construction industry, representing plumbing, heating, and cooling contractors from around the nation.

Causes

Programs

The association conducted nine educational programs: six code classes, two technical classes, and one heating/air-conditioning program. Additionally, a business-related seminar was hosted and worked closely with the national association to host its convention in our state in 2017. Class attendance is generally 50-75 people. the association has three major publications: a quarterly e-newsletter, uniform plumbing code books, and the wisconsin p-h-c contractor magazine. The code books provide plumbers with the information they need to perform installations to code. About 300 code books are produced/distributed each year. The magazine is published quarterly and provides important updates about the industry and the association's activities. About 8,000 magazines are produced/distributed for each issue. the association maintains an active role in working with regulators, legislators, and other associations with a shared interest in the plumbing, heating, cooling industry. the association has been rebranding itself with increased marketing. In 2017, we ramped up efforts to reach hvac contractors in the state.
