The organizations mission is to rescue, restore, preserve and protect historic avenel, a bedford legacy, and to make this unique landmark available for educational, social, business and other appropriate community uses.

Open house for historic tours, wedding receptions, luncheons, meetings, reunions, burthdays, etc. two community fundraising events at historic avenel attended by local residents , historic avenel supporters and local elected officials. held tours providing historical information to the attendees.
