The mission of bandit's adoption and rescue of k-9s ("bark") is to rescue orphaned or abandoned pets and other adoptable dogs from animal shelters in the richmond, virginia area, provide spay/neuter and vaccination services to them, then find loving, forever homes for them.

The organization seeks to spay and neuter adoptable pets and provide necessary veterinary treatment to make available healthy animals for adoption. In addition to necessary medical attention, animals are provided clean kennels and ample food prior to their adoption. the organization founded the hope fund in 2007 to offset veterinary care and attention for rescued dogs with specific and extensive needs. during 2011, the organization opened the jessica beath clinic to provide spay and neuter services in addition to affordable veterinary care for rescued animals.
