Mission

The automotive parts remanufacturers association (apra) is an association of over 800 member companies that rebuild automotive related "hard" parts, such as starters, alternators, clutches, transmissions, brakes, drive shafts and numerous other parts for passenger cars, trucks, off-road equipment and industrial uses. Apra was established in 1941 to serve the automotive parts remanufacturers industry.

Convention - the association held an annual convention during 2017. institute seminars-clinics including numerous technical meetings including a tour of the plant, several smaller electric educational seminars. member publications and services - printing of the annual rosters, technical publications and public awareness videos to help serve customers better and benefit the motoring public. government relations and legal expenses - served the entire membership as well as federal and state agencies who were not familiar with the environmental contribution of our industry.
