The auxiliary provides service to, support of and promotion of johnston memorial hospital through its volunteer program. The auxiliary and its volunteers operate a gift shop and coffee shop which provides goods and services to patients, their families, and hospital employees. Monetary assistance was granted to johnston memorial hospital to help fund a paid director of volunteers position within the hospital. Monetary assistance was also provided by donation of equipment for employee training.
