Promoting the arts in southern oregon

Artist-in-residence programs: through the artists in the schools resdiency program, artists after school art education program, lithia springs music project arts education program, visual arts professional development for classroom teachers in josephine county and professioanl development for pre-school provides the arts council of southern oregon provided high-quality arts enrichment/education programs that reach over 19,000 children, teachers and parents during 2007-2008 arts, culture and humanities program, general/other: the arts council provided technical assistance to artists and art organizations through our monthly arts bulletin which posted over 960 listings, technical assistance workshops to 15 artists and assistance to individual artists and community members via the telephone. We also partnered with the jackson county cultural coaltion to provide funds to sixteen arts/culture organization that served over 31,000 people ( 16 artists, audiences, children and families) interest on savings account
