To represent the interests of merit shop contractors, suppliers and associates and their employees in the policy making process of government, protect and enhance the free enterprise system within the construction industry and provide educations, marketing and informational programs for the benefit of member firms and their employees.

The objective is to foster and perpetuate the principles of merit shop. The association also promotes goodwill between the general public and the construction industry.
