Our mission is to help cancer patients in financial distress while they are in treatment by providing funds for non-medical expenses such as: mortgage/rent, food/groceries, utilities, childcare, and other basic needs, which may be neglected during a patient's treatment.

Assistance in healthcare helps to keep patients focused on fighting cancer thus, alleviating financial worries and other stresses cancer can cause. In fiscal year 2017 assistance in healthcare has provided 3,286 patients and families of midwestern regional medical center hospital with monetary assistance used for utilities, family visits, food shelter, and other non-medical expenses.
