The mission of the organization is to serve atlanta's regional international ocean cargo community by offering industry specific educational events, networking opportunities, and discussion forums which foster growth and excellence.

The organization hosted a golf outing for 60 participants in order to provide networking opportunities for members and others in the logistics industry. the organization held different events during the year such as: an atlanta braves outing for 50 participants, and "after hours" -- events designed to build the ama membership and allow members to network in a relaxed setting.
