The mission of the atlanta bar association is to promote professionalism and the fair administration of justice in our community and to provide programs and benefits which serve our diverse membership.

Public service - the atlanta bar association lawyer referral & information service executed 41,000 callers with over 14,000 referrals to qualified, service oriented members of the atlanta legal community. continuing legal education -during the 2016-2017 fiscal year, 425 hours of cle programs were offered with 4,560 lawyers attending the programs. bar -wide events and activities included - celebrating service luncheon and pro bono fair; winter membership luncheon; and the annual meeting and awards luncheon. Three fundriaisng events, the legal runaround 5k race; lawjam battle of the bands and a chorus line theater production raised money for atlanta bar projects and services to the community. The bar's 22 sections held 170 events which provided members with continuing legal education, practice development programs, and networking socials.
