Conferences - the organization conducts conferences and seminars throughout north america, and has co-sponsored conferences in other countries. The purpose of these conferences and seminars is to promote experiential education and to provide opportunities for teachers, educators, administrators and professional practitioners from a broad spectrum to continually update and improve professional practice skills in experiential education. membership - the organization is a professional membership association that supports its individual, family and organizational members with staff support and expertise, networking opportunities, published materials, and conferences and seminars. regions - the membership of the organization in north america is organized by eight geographical regions heartland, mid-atlantic, midsouth, northeast, northwest, rocky mountain, southeast, and west. These regions are part of the corporation, and operate within the 501(c)(3) irs designation. accreditation - the aee accreditation program is a voluntary method of self-regulation for quality control and improvement of a variety of programs and organizations throughout the united states. The organization maintains an ongoing relationship with accredited programs and organizations for the purposes of achieving a high level of experiential education practice. 2017 expenses 91,323. .
