Bass-N-Buddies'' mission is to enhance the lives of children with special needs through wildlife and environmental education, companionship, mentoring, and friendship. Bass-n-buddies is a program to assist in the improvement and quality of life for children of special needs, with emphasis focusing on providing for the physically, mentally, socially, and economically challenged. Bass-N-Buddies uses the great out of doors and the experiences it offers to help children grow in self esteem, self worth, self reliance, and team effort.All programs are designed by our Education Director, Mrs. Wendi Slone, M.E., to provide learning opportunities regardless of their limited abilities.Programs are disigned to provide a close experience with nature, wildlife, aquatic life, and environment and enables a closer bond with family and friends.

Bass-N-Buddies was founded on the principle of providing mentoring opportunities to disadvantaged youth as well as children and adults with disabilities. We achieve this by introducing all Bass-N-Buddies participants to the sport of fishing in conjunction with educating them about our local lakes and their history, aquatic plants and animals, water safety and outdoor living skills.
