The mission of abacc is to improve the standard of business management in schools of christian higher education by providing professional development, networking and mutual support to their business leadership.

Abacc provides a variety of live, web-based and on-demand educational opportunities for its members. 250 individuals attended the annual conference with hundreds more attending web-based webinars and workshops. The organization received contributed professional services of $65,859 not included in the above program expenses. Services included presenters at the conference, regional workshops and webinars. abacc provides numerous resources to its members including a library of sample documents and job descriptions. Tools and reading materials address the variety of areas for which a typical business officer is responsible. Benchmarking data is available for members to use in their decision making processes. All 187 institutional members have access to data in the annual research project. abacc offers several ways for business officers to network with their peers including listserv, peer group visits and consulting, regional gatherings and more. According to member surveys, networking is the most important resource abacc offers to its members. The listserv receives an average of 200 posts per month. The organization received contributed professional services of $3,000 to administer this service.
