The purpose of the foundation is to make gifts, grants and contributions for charitable, scientific, literary, religious and/or educational purposes within the meaning of those terms as used in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and distribute its income to organizations described in section 509(a)(1),(2), and (3) of the internal revenue code which are engaged in charitable, scientific, literary, religious and/or educational activities.
