The associates hold seminars, field trips, and other formal and informal activities to further the objectives of the map library. The associates publish occasional publications, which include exhibition catalogs and map reproductions in poster form. The associates hire employees for the sole purpose of supporting the library. Currently, the projects include digitizing and enhancing the collection.
