Programs

Operation of three schools in the compounds of ndola zambia. Approximately 891 students (mostly orphans)in grades 1 to 12 receive free education, discipleship, uniforms, five meals a week and basic medical care. Approximately 21 orphans in kenya were sponsored to attend school free of charge that includes uniforms, meals and books. Widows and older orphans are provided at no charge skills training classes in the areas of hospitality, jewelry making/selling and/or keyboarding. Hospitality training consist of nine months of discipleship, training and three months of internship in the areas of front desk clerks, food preparation and housekeepering. During 2017 approximately 60 women were trained. Approximately 11 widows in kenya were trained in sewing. Non english speaking women are trained to design and assemble natural seed necklaces and paper beads into colorful necklaces, earrings and bracelets which are sold in zambia and utilized in fundraising in the usa. English speaking women are trained in a six month keyboarding program to type 50 words per minute with high accuracy which allows them to be hired as data entry operators or office staff within zambia. This program provided consistent employment and competitive wages to more than 30 graduates in 2017.
