Battered womens shelter endowment fund is a supporting organization and is the custodian and administrative fund for permanently restricted private donations made to support the missions of family violence prevention services (the supported organization).

Endowment fund interest earned is used to support the missions of family violence prevention services (the supported organization). Interest is transfered to the supported organization and is included in the temporarily restricted net assets of the supported organizations balance sheet.
