The wcfca was established to create and continue communication between all firefighting organizations in williamson county. It was subsequently expanded to incorporate training opportunities for all departments.

Monthly meetings are held to discuss and complete multiple issues. Plan and conduct county-wide training field days that include live fire training and forcible entry training. This training was available to all fire fighters in williamson county.
