Language for the ysf 2017 990-pf, part ix-a, summary of direct charitable activities whereas in previous years, the foundation has supported research and programs related to its specific purposes via grants to existing institutions, this year it focused on the development of an expansive vision of how the dialog between yoga and science can evolve into a robust working collaboration-a genuine partnership between yoga and science. To that end, the foundation has worked to identify key players in the existing professional field of contemplative science, explore with them potentials and limitations with regard to the kind of partnership we envision, and distill from their experience the principles and practices that could support such a full partnership.
