The national ymca mission is to put christian principals into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Our additional local mission is to provide for the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the individual, family and community.

Programs

Membership: member services is a financial bridge between those of the community that support youth and family and those that received scholarship assistance to reap the same benefits as everyone else. aquatics: lifeguard training site, swimming lessons for all ages of children, and health and wellness for seniors using water aerobic classes. camps: experience the natural world through exploration and active involvement. Social recreation, camp crafts and our y traditions provide a rich menu of activities for school age kids. Hands-on activities are provided including environmental education and healthy living. Age appropriate groups provide a structure for campers to develop self-esteem, learn cooperative skills and practice the ymca values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Boy and girl campers are enrolled into program areas like discover, fine arts, stem, sports, specialty, leaders in training, and kindergarten.
