We achieved our mission over the year in our three service areas. Education: public presentations on state legislation affecting older adults, sponsored fall prevention workshop for older adults in yolo county, eight public presentations co-sponsored with alzheimer's association on care issues related to dementia. Collaboration: expanded the collaboration committee of providers of services in yolo county to ninety-one organizations which meets every other month to receive vital training and enhance collaboration and referrals between agencies, updated and distributed the yolo healthy aging alliance cross referral form and had over one-hundred participants in the annual cross training event in september. Gathered information, funded printing and helped to distribute 500 yolo senior resource guides. Advocacy: co-sponsored and participated in the annual senior rally day at the capitol and provided education and input on budget and program issues at the local, state and federal level.
