The organization accomplishes its purpose through the operation of a golf course (known as hero's golf course) adjacent to the veteran's administration hospital in west los angeles, ca. The three largest program service accomplishments thru the operation of the golf course are 1) training, employing and helping veterans, including those who are disabled. The program trains veterans in golf course related job skills so they can live a happy and productive life, 2) the operation of the golf course provides therapy for the veterans and 3) recreation for the veterans and others.
