Brhp administers the baltimore regional housing mobility program, which includes partial consent decree and remedial housing choice vouchers. Brhp assists families who choose to relocate from public housing and areas of concentrated poverty to non-impacted areas throughout the baltimore region and supports the family's transition to their new neighborhood. A key component of this program that brhp offers to participating families is high-quality mobility counseling services both pre-and post-move. brhp administers an affordable housing development program focused on increasing the availability of units in non-impacted areas throughout the baltimore region. The program uses a range of tools to increase the availability of units including loans, long-term project based voucher rental subsidies and a homeownership program.
