Detoxification and rehabilitation: there were 2,340 admissions. The substance abuse program uses the latest techniques and medicines. Patients received 24-hour nursing care in a nurturing environment with their medical management supervised by experts in addiction medicine. They participated in group therapy, educational sessions and weekly counseling learning medication and personal time management and creating a daily structure under staff supervision. See community benefit report included on schedule h for more detail. halfway houses: brighton housed over 3,628 men and 3,628 women overnight in its halfway houses, where they were provided daily classes, individual counseling, morning meditation and evening educational sessions. Individuals can participate in on-campus 12-step programs in a cooperative environment while working or engaging in volunteer services.
