The philosophy of the Berkeley Free Clinic is that access to health care is a basic human right. We work as a collective to provide free client-centered services to communities in need and individuals who either cannot or do not access traditional health services. We strive to demystify medicine, to work within the principles of harm reduction, and to empower clients and communities as they take charge of their own health.

The Berkeley Free Clinic offer basic medical and dental care, hepatitis testing, education and vaccination, men's, women's and trans people's STI testing and treatment, anonymous HIV testing, peer counseling, information and referral services, and clean needle services through a collaboration with NEED (Needle Exchange Emergency Distribution), all for free of cost.
