The north carolina glass center (ncgc) believes in the power of creativity, the transforming strength of education, and the exponential effects of a collaborative community. The north carolina glass center strives to promote, maintain and increase education, appreciation and involvement in the production and display of glass art and to teach and educate the public in all aspects of glass art production, display and appreciation. To advance the education and development of glass artists; to establish and maintain a facility wherein glass art can be produced, displayed and otherwise considered for the benefit of artists and the public at large. North carolina glass center is a public access educational glass facility providing a connection to glass in all forms for those with an interest in glass & glass techniques from across the us & beyond. North carolina glass center provided educational opportunities for over 2500 students in its first year of operation. More than 50% of north carolina glass center customers purchase a class or workshop. North carolina glass center offers a year round curriculum of classes for students of every level looking to further develop their glass skills. North carolina glass center offers courses in glass blowing, flameworking and glass fusing.
