The organization seeks to encourage the development and retention of jobs, business and industry and to foster commercial, retail, office and residential projects in the downtown waterfront area of yonkers. In 2014, the organization continued its work on the daylighting of the saw mill river. This project has the potential to revitalize a natural resource which will be noticed by thousands of passerbys daily. The organization also renovated and leased the 3rd floor of the gazette building.
