Afghanistan - WTW has registered as an official NGO. We provide two womens training centers for classes and other activities. We have served more than 1000 women and girls (ages 13 to 38), teaching English, computer skills, secretarial skills and other classes in English. We have partnered with UNIFEM to provide the most up-to-date technology in our class room. Our second center is deep in an unreached area and offers literacy classes and a sewing, micro-enterprise business. Burkina Faso - Lycee Technical Academy is our partnering school that offers a technical education to the young people to prevent them from being sold into sex trafficking. The school offers trauma counseling to those who have suffered from the horrors of female genital mutilation. We believe that education is the key to stop these horrors and by having an education the young people are able to rise above these atrocities and gain hope for the future. We have also partnered with four villages to provide agricultural training to raise healthier crops and have cattle for protein.
