Grant-making (funding the arts): funds awarded to various arts and cultural organizations, schools and individuals in dutchess, ulster and orange counties. Also includes dutchess county designated funds and expenses to administer all funding programs. public programs (arts & services): technical assistance; arts events and meetings; folk art programs; workshops; exhibitions/sales; fiscal sponsorships and community engagement events. outreach & education: community education and public awareness; publications supported such as artscene; periodical columns in publications such as hudson valley news and the enjoy section of the poughkeepsie journal; informational weekly e-newsletter and social media including website, facebook, instagram, twitter and youtube; and informational meetings.
