The mission of the bach concert series is to present music centered on the works of johann sebastian, to educate the concert-going public about the musical language and texts he set to music, and to enrich our community.

The bach concert series presented a series of first sunday concerts as well as a number of outreach concerts during the 2016-2017 season. Each concert featured the music of j. S. Bach (and others) performed by the bach in baltimore avocational choir with professional soloists and orchestra. Most concerts also featured a guest youth choir. Concerts were held at a variety of venues throughout the baltimore metropolitan area and were attended by diverse audiences. Most were offered at very affordable ticket prices; some were free.
