Giving honor to god, our mission is to celebrate and honor those african- american ancestors who survived the institution of bondage and to keep their dream of freedom alive. Our goal is educating and bringing "unity in the community. "

A community celebration is held one weekend out of the year to commemorate african american freedom and emphasize education and achievement. This celebration will bring people together of all races, nationalities, and religions. This year approximately 650 people attended.
