Bay Nature Institute

Mission

Bay Nature tells the stories of nature, wildlife, and environment in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are an independent nonprofit magazine and website with a vision that all people have a close relationship with nature. Bay Nature was first published in 2001 with the goal of creating an inspiring and intelligent publication that would celebrate the natural beauty of the San Francisco Bay Area, honor the region’s legacy of environmental advocacy, and nurture its wealth of creative talent. Nearly 20 years later, Bay Nature continues to evolve, grow, and flourish. Find Bay Nature in print or visit us at baynature.org!
