The purpose for which the corporation was organized is to rescue, rehabilitate, transport, and adopt homeless, abandoned, or abused dogs in the east texas area. The corporation is dedicated to placing adoptable dogs in loving, permanent high quality homes. The corporation also strives to educate the public and promote and provide assistance with spaying and neutering for the prevention of overpopulation of unwanted dogs.

During 2014, 128 dogs were given care, and of those, 99 were adopted out to permanent homes. Also 6 cats were adopted out to permanent homes.
