We are finding loving fur-ever homes for dogs and cats. To make sure york county, sc cats and dogs are treated in a humane manner, rescued, placed in loving and forever homes by:increasing dogs and cats adoptions and rescues;empowering the environment so pet owners are responsible and accountable for their actions;supporting spay and neuter programs for community dogs and cats;providing a helping hands program to assist with critical treatment for dogs and cats in need;championing community collaboration across rescues.

Rescued, provided medical treatment including vaccines, spay/neuter services and other necessary treatments, provided housing, daily care and nourishment for 1,137 dogs and cats. 978 dogs and cats were placed in forever homes. community outreach: provided sponsorship for york county animal owners to obtain low cost spay/neuter services for their pets. This program is in partnership with carolina place animal hospital, project safe pet and spay neuter charlotte. 696 dogs and cats were sterilized via this sponsorship program reducing the number of unwanted litters in york county. community outreach: provided emergency medical assistance to york county residents for their pets. As needed basis, limit of $200 per incident. Assisted 41 animals.
